Traditional Fun

During the holidays, many families have traditions, and it is also the time for getting together. It could be from Easter baskets, to the food, or even activities.

Our tradition is egg hunt. We hunt for plastic eggs that have coins inside. Depending on the weather, we hunt inside or  outside. This year the hunt was outside. The hunt can be quite tricky. The places were the eggs were hidden were under a lamp light, a seashell, in tall areas of grass, and also in a cinder block. There is ten of us so it can be quite a challenge and also there is always competition.

After we were done searching for our eggs. The football throwing began. At first it was just tossing the football around, but that didn't stay long due to more people joining. The game that was played is monkey in the middle.

Do you have any traditions around the holidays?

  1. I think it's great that adults are still hunting for eggs. We had a guest over this year from Brazil. She said all of the adults still search for their Easter baskets at their grandmother's house.

I know I've said it 1,000 times, but always proof before you post. Just looking at your first paragraph, I found multiple errors:

During the holidays (missing comma) many families have traditions (missing comma) and it is also the time for getting together. It could be from Easter baskets, to the food, or even activities.

  2. During the Easter holiday I traditionally go to church. I am not sure if you would call that a tradition because I go to church every Sunday. Traditionally we dye eggs with the children the night before Easter. On Easter day my family cooks a big dinner, if the weather is nice we have an Easter egg hunt for the children, and the rest of the day is spent enjoying family. I hope you had a great Easter.
